EFOP Horse: Anthony Duthuille as new title holder
The European Finals of Poker is currently in its second and last half and it remains only four tournaments until next Sunday, January 29 which are the PL Omaha Championship, the Diamond Championship, the High Roller and the Omaha Hi Lo Championship. The first half of this poker tour in Paris was closed Sunday by the Horse Championship, which ended with the victory of Anthony Duthuille. After two days of competition, the French was the best among the 62 registered players at this tournament. The Horse Championship with a buy-in of 250 allowed Anthony Duthuille to win 4,000. The runner up is Elias Damouni who wins 2,700 but after the deal, the two players end up with 3,400 and 2,300. Eric Duportal complete the top three with a gain of 2,140. The other players in the money are Sacha Israel ( 1,570), Antony Lellouche ( 1,280), Simon Abitbol ( 1000), Jean Levy ( 860) and Robert Cohen ( 710).
This week, the ACF will receive the European Poker Awards 2012 which will distribute nine awards including the Player of the Year 2011, the best performance in tournament, the best beginner, the best player, the poker Employee, the internet player, the personality of the year (Rob Gardner Memorial Award), the Best Event and the Lifetime Achievement Award. To close in joy the EFOP 2012, the tables of the ACF will receive the best poker players in the Diamond Championship, a tournament of 5,000 buy-in that will take place over four days from Thursday, January 26.
