PokerStars Caribbean Adventure: John Dibella wins two million dollars
The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) champion 2012 is finally known. It's John Dibella, a father of 43 years old. Dibella had the opportunity to be among the 1,072 participants for the main event of $ 10,000 buy-in of the PCA 2012 by having been qualified in a Live satellite of $ 1,000. Luck was on his side from the beginning. Despite the presence of many poker pros in the field, Dibella was able to win the title with a huge prize of $ 2 million, his first and major victory in live poker tournaments. The final table of the PCA was, however, composed by top players like the player from Netherlands Ruben Visser who settled for the 8th place, the runner up of the PCA 2009 Tony Gregg who finished 6 th, the charming Canadian Xuan Liu (4th) or Farah Jaka who occupied the bronze place of the podium of Atlantic Resort's poker room. The champion had also to deal with the online poker pro Kyle Julius during the final duel.
Regarding the results of French players who participated in the event, Arnaud Mattern was able to defend the honor of France by qualifying at the 58 th rank, a ranking which earned him a gain of $ 32,500. Among the well known players who entered in the money list are Liv Boeree, Tommy Vedes, Phi d'Auteuil, Martin Jacobson, Erik Cajelais, Barry Greenstein, Harrison Gimbel, Yevgenjy Timoshenko, Phil Collins and the champion of the PCA 2011 Galen Hall.
