Ostend Poker War II: The Belgian tournament of this January
Poker tournaments are in the spotlight in this beginning of the year after a break of two weeks, the time to let players enjoy Christmas and New Year's Eve. For the poker enthusiasts residing in the North of France, the Ostend Poker War II is the event not to be missed. This second edition of the Ostend Poker War will take place as the previous edition at Casino Kursaal in Ostend, Belgium, and will please those who like to play poker in this country with its moderate buy-in of 925 + 75. Scheduled for January 13 to 15, 2012, the OPW II offers the opportunity to discover the Flemish region and its culture and resorts, a great alternative to combine poker and relaxation. Since its inception in early 2011, the OPW wants to be a classic for Belgian and French poker players as it's the Partouche group that organize it.
The Ostend Poker War II Tournament is a deepstack that sits on a level structure of 60 minutes with starting stacks of 50,000 chips. The Casino Kursaal has already organized on December 29 a satellite Freeze Out of 250 buy-in for players to qualify for the main event. Another satellite is scheduled for January 12 with the same structure : 250 buy-in, a starting stack of 10,000 chips and levels of 20 minutes. The first edition of the OPW, held in January 2011 was marked by the consecration of Luigi Marzo face to a field of 83 players. He won 25,000 after a head's up with Carlo Gosselin who pocketed 10,398.
