WPT 2012: The first step in Dublin from January 5
The World Poker Tour Venice (WPT) closed with finesse the year 2011 in last mid-December. After the first stage of the season 10 of the World Poker Tour, fans of live poker tournament will meet in Dublin in the magnificent City West Hotel for the continuation of the season. This Irish step will mark the start of the second half of the Season 10 followed by nine other steps that will take place over four months, from February to May. Next week, the eyes of poker enthusiasts around the world will be fixed on the WPT Dublin with a Main Event of 2,250 + 250 buy-in. This event will be held from January 5 to 8, 2012 and is based throughout the competition on a structure of 60 minutes of game for each level and a starting stack of 30,000 chips. Many side events are also planned during the four days of competition : No Limit Texas Hold'em, No Limit Texas Hold'em Freezeout, Tripple Chance Omaha ...
During the last WPT Venice held from December 13 to 18 of this year, the Italian Edoardo Alescio ended as winner face to a field of 213 players and for this feat, he won the title and a whopping $ 255,842 just before Steve O'Dwyer and Michele Caroli. After Dublin, the WPT will let people rediscover once again the surprising landscape of Venice. Indeed, the tournament will return to the Casino de Venezia on February 6 to 11 for a Main Event of 4,950 buy-in.
