Poker tournament in Africa: Senegal and Madagascar in the spotlight for 2012
Africa is beginning gradually to take a place in the international poker circuit. Last year, the continent hosted the WSOP Circuit and the Dakar Poker Tour. For 2012, the African poker circuit will be enriched by two major tournaments which are the fourth edition of the Dakar Poker Tour and the second edition of the Lemurian Poker Tour. On next January 9 to 15, the Terrou-Bi Resort will once again host the Dakar Poker Tour which in addition to a poker tournament is also a moment of relaxation to discover. Sun, private beach, boat and other enriching activities await the participants during this week of vacancy in the Senegalese capital. To attend the event, the organizers offer two packages of 2,500 and 2,900 with accommodation, buy-in of 1,500 for the Main Event and 500 for the side event. Last year over 150 participants were recorded and the event ended with the coronation of Roger Hairabedian.
For amateur of discovery and poker, Madagascar will be the new destination in next March with the Lemurian Poker Tour to be held in the capital (Antananarivo) from March 3 to 12. For this second edition of the tournament, the poker room of Vegas Club will receive a Main Event of 50,000 chips for level of an hour at a very moderate buy-in of 750. Other events are also planned as the cash game of 10 buy-in or the High Roller of 2,500.
