EPT Prague: Martin Finger champion, Nicolas Levi in the 3rd place
The champion of the first European Poker Tour Prague (EPT) has just been revealed. Indeed, the trophy and first prize of 720,000 has just been awarded to Martin Finger. This is a great feat accomplished by this German online poker professional player who completely dominated the final table of this tournament. Indeed, Martin Finger managed to eliminate five of his opponents on the table starting with Andreas Wiese, who finished 7th, Ari Engel who finished 6th and 4th Guillen Usero. The champion also destroyed the hopes of the French public in the poker room expecting the triumph of their compatriot Nicolas Levi, who finally settled for the 3rd place with a bonus of 270,000. The Dutch Boyaciyan David was his last victim. This was placed at the runner up spot after a duel that lasted three hours.
Among the favorites for the final table were the Danish Mads Wissing but he was eliminated in the 8th place by the Spanish Guillen Usero. Note that this event gathered 722 players generating a huge prize pool of 3,501,700. At this event, the 104 best players were paid. And most of renowned players who participated in the tournament successfully integrated the money list like Jude Ainsworth, Ruper Elder, Vitaly Lunkin, Mike McDonald, Anton Wigg, Liv Boeree, Ilan Boujenah or Philippe Rohr. Fans of the EPT circuit will meet in the Bahamas in the poker room of Atlantic Resort to compete for the title of the event PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA 2012) from January 5 to 10, 2012.
