EPT Prague: Gus Hansen among the participants
The poker festival in Prague continues to amaze the Czech capital after its start a few days ago. The World Poker Tour (WPT) is currently in its final day, while the main event of 5,300 buy-in of the European Poker Tour has just started on Monday, December 5 in the poker room of the Hilton Prague. For the first qualifying day, 236 players were registered. Stars of the game like the world champion of poker 2011 Pius Heinz and his runner-up Martin Staszko, the famous tennis player Boris Becker, Bertrand ElkY Grospellier, Ilan Ruach, Liv Boeree, Lex Veldhuis, Eugene Katchalov, Luca Pagano, Manuel Bevand, Johnny Lodden and the world champion 2010 Jonathan Duhamel are part of the field of the day 1A.
This day was also marked by the return of the Danish poker pro Gus Hansen who won the first prize at the grand finale of last season, held in Madrid and who also won trophies at the World Poker Tour tournaments that took place between 2002 and 2004. Note that this player disappeared from the poker scene for about six months and decided to devote himself to his favorite sport which is Rackleton. Indeed, Gus Hansen gave up his passion for card games. His ambition is to become the world champion of Rackleton and he trains actively to achieve his objective. His presence at Prague delighted his fans hoping to see their star perform a great feat in the tournament.
