Solidarity: Bingo raised funds for the fight against cancer
In this end of the year, many associations organize various charity events to brighten the lives of unlucky people during the holidays. This time, it is the cancer patients who have been privileged. Indeed, in Doncaster, England, an online bingo hall did a fund-raising to finance the activities of the Marie Curie Cancer Care association. A sum of £ 700 was collected and thanks to this initiative, the association can help patient in terminal phase and their families through the provision of home nursing and by providing free care.
In France, in the commune of Saint Estèphe, in the department of Gironde, a bingo solidarity cancer was also held in the hall of event. As during the edition 2010, the event attracted thousands of people who came to support this charity and who have a nice relaxing time. In addition, prizes of quality were reserved for the best players in the game. Note that the benefits amounting 20,000 gathered at the event were awarded to the association Bergonié which mission is to lead a fight against cancer. Given the active participation of players, we must say that it became a common fight. In addition, some participants in this bingo bonus told they are also waging a fight against a disease that could reach them all. The remittance of the check was a moment full of emotion.
