WPT Amneville: A well deserved victory for Adrien Allain
Already victorious during the Asia Poker Tour Macau in 2009, Adrien Allain signed another triumph during the World Poker Tour Amnéville (WPT) which took place in the poker room of Seven Casino. Indeed, he won the tournament after ousting Jordan Quin in the final duel. Adrien Allain made a difficult journey before reaching this win. Two hours after the start of the final table of 6 players, the champion lost half of his chips. However, he managed to back up the hill and after the elimination of Scott Baumstein, chipleader at the 4 th place, he was immediately placed in the lead. And in this struggle, he eliminated Arnaud Trouer who was ousted at the 6th place. Trouer was the first eliminated from the final table. Michael Konieczny, owner of the lowest stack at the beginning of the meeting, followed him shortly after. Thibaud Guenegou managed to clinch the third place with a bonus of 113,580.
With this feat, Adrien Allain pocketed 310,633 and won also a place for the $ 25,000 WPT Bellagio tournament. The runner up Jordan Quin won for his part $ 170,365 and a ticket for the next 10,000 WPT Paris. Note that Adrien Allain is the 6 th French who won a WPT title. With this result, he joined the rank of Bertrand Grospellier, Thomas Bichon, Christophe Savary and Guillaume Darcourt.
