WSOP Circuit Biloxi: Charley Leroi dominated the first day
The Main Event of the World Series of Poker Circuit Biloxi (WSOPC) started last weekend with the participation of many players who came there to compete for one of the WOSPC 2011-2012 bracelets. The IP Casino Resort & Spa of Biloxi hosted during this Main Event 218 players for Day 1A and 111 players for Day 1B. On Day 1A, only 110 players were qualified for Day 2. In the afternoon, on Day 1B, 111 players were registered, but at the end of the day, only 63 got their tickets to the next round. At the beginning of Day 2, then, there were only 173 players hoping to win the title of the Biloxi, Mississippi stage. The Day 1A was marked by a massive elimination of well known players like John Dolan, WSOP 2010 November Niner, Kathy Liebert, Kyle Cartwright, Ryan Lenaghan, Chris Tryba and Dwyte Pilgrim.
The Day 1B provided a new opportunity for new entrants but also for players eliminated from Day 1A. And for Chris Tryba and Dwyte Pilgrim, who registered once again for that day, they were once again eliminated. After this first day, Charley Leroi takes the chip lead with a stack of 128,000 chips. Behind the chipleader, there is Rex Clinkscales with 109,000 chips, Brian Senie (105,500), Greg Whitworth (85,500), AJ Jejelow (85,500) and James Henson (84,000). Allen Kessler is also among the survivors of Day 1 by gathering a stack of 29,100 chips.
