WPT Amneville: Nicolas Babel as chip leader
The qualifying first day of the World Poker Tour Amnéville (WPT) has already delivered its verdict. There were 176 players who participated in the Main Event Day 1A of 3,500 buy-in held in the poker room of Seven Casino Amneville. A considerable reduction peak was observed because last year, the same day of competition brought together 546 participants. However, the organizers hope to record a more interesting field, with the participation of poker pro such as Bertrand Grospellier, Jake Cody, Tony G, Arnaud Mattern, Marvin Rettenmaier, Isabelle Mercier or Bruno Fitoussi during the second day 1. At the end of Day 1A, there were only 114 players vying for the Day 2. And it's the French poker pro Nicolas Babel who is leading the tournament holding 163,600 chips in hand. He is closely followed by Mounir Riad with 154,400 chips.
Among the notable players who accessed in a good position for the following of the competition, there is Adrian Allain placed at the 4 th position, Marc Inizan 6th, Burlot Regis 7th, Antonin Teissidre, Leo Truche, Pedro Canali, Yann Brosolo, Valentin Messina, Almira Skripchenko, Rémy Biechel and Idris Ambraise. On the other hand, the public attended the sad elimination of Benjamin Pollack, Jean Paul Pasqualini, the runner up of the WPT Amnéville 2010 Frank Pepe and Hugo Lemaire. Luke Fields, Athanasios Polychrinopous, Emmanuel Fernandes, Jean-François Schwartz and Gregory Bolognini are among the players who are in the top 10 of the tournament.
