Full Tilt Poker: Between termination of employees and poll of former players
The Full Tilt Poker series continues to feed the headlines of poker press with new information about this case. On the one hand, the interest of the Groupe Bernard Tapie (GBT) for this gambling portal seems to know some evolution, even if the technique it used lead to ask some questions and on the other hand, the former home parent and its subsidiaries that no longer turn, continue to leave their team of yesteryear. Indeed, in Dublin, the company Pocket Kings Ltd, a subsidiary of Full Tilt Poker based in Ireland and which was in charge of technology with which the site was working, the entity responsible of providing the software and the customer service site had to pay off its 180 employees. The dismissal was made on October 19 but it was announced that the company will go up to say goodbye to 250 employees.
On another level, former professional players of Full Tilt Poker, Spanish, German, Belgian ... about a hundred have been contacted by Live Poker. As a reminder, a shareholder of the magazine is also the partner of Bernard Tapie in the International Stadium Poker Tour initiative. To return to this famous survey, questions about the willingness of players to come play again or not for FTP, their willingness to put money on the site, to recover their money gradually with penalty or withdraw their funds... were discussed. But in all cases, the investigation seems to estimate the minimum amount that the potential buyers must pay for FTP before the recovery. But in the opinion of the employees recently laid off, the recovery by the GBT is unlikely and FTP seems to be in the way to disappear.
