Coupe des Nations: Members of the French team announced
The Coupe des Nations is a tournament having a Duplicate Poker format held during the World Championship of Poker, a new competition which will be held in London from November 17 to 20. As a reminder, 12 teams of 6 players will compete in this original championship. At this time, there remains only one month prior to the event. And it was announced that the Federation of Poker Players have already selected the players who will make up the French team. Thus, the Hexagon will be represented by five players, a woman player, Lucille Cailly who was newly crowned Champion of the Cercle Wagram Main Event and a substitute player who is none other than the young Clement Thumy, 23 years old.
At the place of captain is Fabrice Soulier. He gained great notoriety in the world of French poker with many exploits and the most recent is his winning during the HORSE tournament of the World Series of Poker 2011(WSOP), which earned him a beautiful bracelet. Nicolas Levi is also part of the selection. This is a poker pro who has six WSOP final tables. Holder of the title of the Partouche Poker Tour 2009, Jean-Paul Pasqualini is also qualified and is the oldest of the team. David Benyamine, the second French player holding the largest gain in tournament, is also part of the composition. Note that he also holds a WSOP bracelet. The 5 th player of this team is Hugo Lemaire, known for his performance at the World Poker Grand Prix de Paris.
