International Stadium Poker Tour: $ 10 million to pocket for the winner
Announced a few days ago, the big poker tournament having a guaranteed prize of $ 30 million, the International Stadium Poker Tour (ISPT) will really take place. Organizers unveiled some details about the tournament. Thus, the ISPT will be an annual tournament and will take place in many famous stadium. For the inaugural event, the new Wembley Stadium in London was elected as the place that will host it first. The estimated field for this event is between 20,000 and 30,000 players. They will be installed on the stands and will compete on PCs tablet. When it remains only 10% of the field in the race, the tournament will be continued on the lawn. Note that all players that will have the chance to qualify for this level of the tournament will be all part of the paid players.
Scheduled to take place in the second half of 2012, this huge poker tournament that is the ISPT will take place between August 15 and October 9. The organizers hope to get the stadium for the first week of September but they should wait the timing of the English premier league. The main event will be spread out in five days and qualifying tournaments in online poker rooms will start around the beginning of 2012. The 10 finalists of the event will share a large sum of $ 17.5 million and the winner will walk away with a huge gain of $ 10 million. The event will be broadcast on several TV channels and note that side event tournaments will be held in conjunction with the main event.
