PCA 2012: The Crazy Pineapple Poker as a novelty
It will be in Paradise Island that the ninth edition of the poker tournament Poker Carribbean Adventure (PCA) will be held from January 5 to 14, 2012. This new season promises a wonderful program because 41 events with buy-ins ranging between $ 300 and $ 100,000 will be on the program for poker players. Among the tournaments that are supposed to attract the most participants is the $ 10,000 Main Event won by Gelen Hall during the last edition and the $ 25,000 High Roller. But the Super High Roller of $ 100,000 during which competitors will compete on tables of No Limit Hold'em will be back at the PCA 2012 and it will be the opening event of the new season. It should be noted that the main event will be broadcast on television from the third day of competition to the final table.
The big news of this new edition is the holding of two new tournaments : the PL Crazy Pineapple Poker and the PL Pineapple Poker. This is a variant of game still relatively unknown by players. The PCA 2012 is an opportunity to discover the Pineapple Poker. The Women's event will be also on the program on Jan. 14 at noon. As for the heads'up championship of $ 5,250 buy-in, the field will be limited to 64 participants and the meeting will be held on January 13, 2012. Last year, it was Eugene Katchalov who won the trophy against Daniel Negreanu. The Ante Up NL, the World Cup of Poker or the eight-game championship will be also played there.
