BPT Bordeaux: Mathieu Pourrat won his ticket to the WSOPE Cannes
The third edition of the tournament Barrière Poker Tour (BPT) was over after its last stop in Bordeaux last weekend. The event brought together 166 participants who were also there to win their tickets for the famous Cannes tournament which will start in a few days. After two days of competition, it was Mathieu Pourrat who won the victory. That player, a native of Montpellier, was able to take part in this tournament of 1,500 buy-in by online qualifying tournament. And with another magnificent performance in the poker room of Théâtre Barrière de Bordeaux casino, he pocketed the prize of 20,000 and also won a place for the World Series of Poker Europe Cannes (WSOPE).
As in previous stages, this stage of the BPT distributed 9 packages of 12,000 for the WSOPE. Thus, the nine finalists as the runner-up Damien Cayet, Rémi Le Meur (3rd), Patrick Azzouzi (4th), Stéphane Gard (5th), Yohan Desmoulins (6th), Jeremy Leger (7th), Philippe Sintes (8th) and Fernando Gomez (9th) benefited this package. And about the results of the side events, Sandrine Guerin, Delphin Demoulin and Florence Martin met at the top of the list of the ladies tournament and all won a package of 850 for the same event. Kamel Tafer won the trophy at the NLH Turbo and received as reward the sum of 2,100, Thierry Gogniat was elected champion of the Deepstack tournament and was entitled to a gain of 9,200 and Karim Ahras was awarded the title of the Knockout Bounty of 440.
