Latin American Poker Tour: A first stop in Medellin, Colombia
The season 4 of the tournament Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) began in February 2011 in Brazil. After the stopover in Argentina at the beginning of August, the circuit is at its 5th and final stage prior to the final. And this time, the appointment will be held for the first time in Medellin, Colombia. Indeed, the tournament was scheduled to take place in Bogota but organizers finally opted for this charming town of Colombia as the host of the National Poker Championship of $ 1,000 buy-in that will take place from October 12 to 16, 2011. The Tournament Director, David Carrion, announced to the poker community that Latin America continues to grow. And he hopes to meet many poker enthusiasts at the event.
Colombian players are known for their talent and some of them are in the top of the table as Player of the Year like Pablo Gonzalez and Daniel Ospina. It's sure that they will defend the honor of their country during this LAPT Colombia which will be a great poker festival of 5 days. Besides the main event, two super satellites and side event tournaments will be also in the program, like the No Limit Hold'em Turbo and Turbo High Roller NLHE. Appointment is given in the poker room of Casino Allegre Medellin to know the great player that will join the ranks of Alex Manzano, Murilo Figueredo, Gustavo Alex Ferri and Kemal Komaron, champions of the previous stages of the LAPT Season 4.
