WPT Grand Prix de Paris: Frank Pepe takes the place of chip leader before the day 3
The WPT Grand Prix de Paris hold currently in suspense poker enthusiasts around France and even lovers of this game internationally. The main event buy-in of the tournament is as a reminder 7,500 and the event attended by 312 players. The Day 1A was marked by the domination of Mikko Sundell. During the Day 1B, it was the French Guillaume Darcourt who was the chipleader. The second day was attended by 97 other participants in addition to the 70 survivors of the first day, which raises to 167 the number of registered players in this tournament. With 198,500 chips gained, Darcourt ranks then at the second position of the chipleading just behind the Finnish Mikko Sundell, the chip leader of Day 1A.
After these three days, the World Poker Tour Paris has now only 61 participants after the elimination of players like Jason Mercier, Manuel Bevand, Ludovic Lacay, Joseph Cheong, Mike Sexton, Pedro Canali, Juha Helppi, ... The Day 2 was shortened after the high number of eliminated players, and the public knew before 8:30 p.m, before the dinner break the 61 remaining players for the rest of the competition. During this day, the French Frank Pepe became the chipleader with 432,000 chips. The runner up of the WPT Amnéville qualifies then to the next round with other French as Ahmed Debabeche, Christophe Lesage and Alexandre Brivot. The Day 3 began on September 8 at 2:00 p.m with the 36 survivors of the previous days.
