Eureka Poker Tour: Richard Bodis crowned in Croatia
It was the Hungarian Richard Bodis who managed to overcome the 255 players who participated in the fourth stage of the tournament Eureka Poker Tour of Croatia. This field was made up of amateur players who were qualified in the various satellite tournaments in online poker rooms and others are professionals who paid a buy-in of 800. Indeed, some top players from Eastern Europe and some notable players in the UK like Owen Shiels, Michael Leedham, Neil Rawnsley and also the American player Chris Moneymaker were present there. By winning his first title in a live tournament, Bodis got also a nice cash prize of 47,298 and a place for the grand finale of the Eureka Poker Tour to be held in Prague in December.
Among the 255 participants, 85 of them were qualified to return at the poker room to play in the day 2 and try to be a finalist or at least among the 27 players of the paid list. None of the professionals who visited the scene have managed to qualify for rewards even the famous Moneymaker enthroned of a place of chip leader after the Day 1A. At the end of the competition, Richard Bodis won the victory over Germany's Carsten Luxig who pocketed a bonus of 30,150 as runner up. In the third placewas the player from Greece Vasileios Chantzaras and the fourth is the Spaniard Jose Carlos Lopez Fibla.
