World Cup of Poker Season 8: Go for the qualification
The World Cup of Poker is the event not to be missed in the poker world as well as the World Cup of football in the world of football. This year, the WCP is in its eighth edition with a qualification that was held on August 20 and 21 and will employ over 56 countries as it was the case last year. The World Cup of Poker is an online poker tournament where teams from different countries compete for a ticket that will allow them to participate in the grand final to be held each year in the Bahamas. Each team should be composed of 5 players including the captain that could be a professional player. During this tournament, national teams are divided into groups and only seven of them will qualify for the final Live in the Bahamas in 2012.
The best teams of four tournaments will qualify for the PCA 2012. Last year, at the seventh edition of the World Cup of Poker, nine national teams were qualified for the finals in the Bahamas for the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA). In the final of the world cup of poker in the Bahamas, the Italian team led by its captain Luca Pagano emerged with gains of $ 100,000, just ahead of Great Britain with $ 70,000, Ukraine ($ 50,000 ), France ($ 30,000), Slovakia ($ 10,000), Spain ($ 10,000), Argentina ($ 10,000), the United States ($ 5,000) and finally the Philippines (5000 $).
