Card Player: ElkY on the cover of its new release
The world of French poker became more and more known in the international level with the performance of its professional players like Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier. Effectively, he'd just made the cover of the famous poker magazine Card Player. This illustration in one of the poker magazines the best known by poker enthusiasts around the world highlights the reputation of the French on the international stage. Card Player, for recall is an American magazine but the presence of Bertrand Grospellier in this tabloid made that he's not just a French national champion but and "international" star. The magazine gives in this publication a full interview of the French from his beginning in poker to his recent achievement at the Seven Card Stud Championship in which he won a WSOP bracelet for this year's 2011. In France, ElkY has already made the cover a special publication of Live Poker.
Bertrand Grospellier's career began in 2007 but it took five years to see his dream come true : a WSOP bracelet after a nice performance in front of 126 players. Meanwhile, the French won the European Poker Tour and the World Poker Tour. With these three titles, Bertrand Grospellier is now one of very select players who won the "Triple Crown". 32 years old, Bertrand Grospellier has over $ 9.3 million gain and is one of 20 best poker players in the world.
