Spanish Championship of Poker VI: The seventh step won by Sabates Juan Lopez
From August 12 to 14, poker enthusiasts in Spain were able to attend the seventh stage of the Spanish Championship of Poker VI (CEP) held at the Casino of Tarragona. Probably the biggest poker Iberian tournament, this championship was attended by 88 players and it was marked by the coronation of Sabates Juan Lopez. As usual, the organizers relied again on the variant of poker the most played over the world, No Limit Texas Hold'em with a little modification in the buy-in. During the seventh stage of the tournament, Sabates Juan Lopez grabbed the first place winning 16,220, he just outpaced Marin José Fuentes who won 10,130. At the third place, we found Laura Gallardo Ribot ( 6,080), followed by Ruben Herrera Setian ( 5,070) and Jose Arroyo Nieto ( 3,550) who completes the Top 5.
To recap, the Spanish Championship of Poker VI is composed of 11 major tournaments including the seventh that was held last week. As program, there will be the 8th stage from September 16 to 18 at the Gran Casino of Mallorca, the ninth stage on October 13 to 16 at Casino Gran Madrid, the 10th on October 17 to 20 at Casino Kursaal and the Grand Final is scheduled for December 5 to 11 at Casino of Barcelona.
