PPT Cannes Final 2011: Many stars of poker confirm their presence
After the last two qualifying tournaments in Aix-en-Provence on August 19 to 21 and Saint-Amand-les-Eaux on August 27 and 28, fans of the Partouche Poker Tour (PPT) circuit will meet in the luxurious poker room of Palm Beach Casino in Cannes from September 12 to 17. This will be indeed the date of holding of the Grand Final available for a buy-in of 8,500. Last year, the event brought together many poker professionals and many of them have yet confirmed their participation in the edition 2011 of the final as Patrik Antonius, Tom Dwan, Phil Laak, Jean-Robert Bellande, Gus Hansen, Antonio Esfandiari or Phil Hellmuth. And without a doubt, French poker best players will be also part of this new edition in order to try to succeed Vanessa Selbst, the champion of 2010.
Note that qualified players during the various Summer Sat organized in many cities of France will be part of the field. But other satellite tournaments will be still offered, events allowing players to have chance to access to the main event. Apart from this main event, many side event tournaments will be held throughout the championship. There will be for example the Freezeout tournaments available for 300, 1,500 and 3,000 buy-in, Short-Handed tournament of 1,000 and a Heads'up tournament of 5,000 entrance fee. The ladies will be also honored at the Partouche Poker Ladies of 550 buy-in and finally, participants can also play poker on Friday, September 16. The event will be available for 500 buy-in.
