Hasan Habib: In a good position for the Epic Poker League title
The Epic Poker League, the appointment of the best poker players in the world is now in its fourth and final day. And after the second day, only 18 of the 63 participants remained in the race. Sam Trickett, as usual, succeeded his bet by ending the Day 2 with 1,032,000 chips. During the second day, we saw the defeat of many players as Dwyte Pilgrim, Shannon Shorr, Chad Brown, Antonio Esfandiari, Sorel Mizzi, Vanessa Selbst, Phil Laak, John Racener, Daniel Alaei ... Among the 63 players who began the second day of the tournament thus, 18 were able to qualify for the Day 3 who are Sam Trickett (1,032,000 chips), Hasan Habib (646,000), Isaac Baron (637,500), Erik Seidel (609,000) and Adam Levy (587,000) for the Top 5. The Top 10 is completed by Jason Mercier, Matthew Glantz, Eugene Katchalov and David "Chino Rheem. Only six of these survivors of the Day 2 will however have their ticket for the final.
The Day 3 of the Main Event was held as scheduled on August 11 at 9:00 p.m between 18 players. After eleven hours of play, the two chipleaders of the first two days and ten other players were eliminated, leaving the place for Hasan Habib with 1.655 million chips followed by Erik Seidel (1,109,000), Chino Rheem (1,432,000 ), Gavin Smith (766,000), Jason Mercier (1,495,000) and Huck Seed (396,000) for the final battle of this Friday, August 12.
