WPT Malta: Matt Perrins and Jake Cody will be part of field
Announced a few months ago, the stage in Malta is another step added to the 10 th season of the World Poker Tour (WPT). This event is expected to take place from September 20 to 24, 2011. It will be therefore held just after the French step to be held at the Aviation Club de France. The organizers and the host institution which is the casino Portomaso Malta hope to meet a broad field consisting of amateur and local and foreign professional during the main event of 3,300. Indeed, those who want to retry their luck after a failure in Paris are expected to go in Malta. It is the same hope about players who will join the city of Cannes to attend the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) and those who will be heading to London for the European Poker Tour. Indeed, these two events will take place several days after the WPT Malta.
A few poker pros as the holder of a triple crown Jake Cody and the holder of a WSOP bracelet, Matt Perrins already confirmed their presence at the main event. According to the tournament director Adam Pliska, this passage of the WPT in Malta will be a great opportunity for the country because many people devote a great passion for this game and they will be both delighted and pleased to host a tournament of international scale as the WPT in their country. This will be the poker room of Portomaso that will host this interesting poker tournament. Meanwhile, fans of the circuit are expected at the Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens, California from August 25 to participate in the WPT Legends of Poker.
