The Raiser's Edge: A more advanced version of the book « Kill ElkY »
Poker is now considered as an intellectual game that has a big reputation in France with the coronation of French professional poker players like Bertrand "" ElkY "Grospellier and David Benyamine on the international circuit. To mark the rise of poker in France but also throughout the world, ElkY and Lee Nelson just released a new book which is entitled "The Raiser's Edge". The two players already collaborate in 2010 with the release of the poker book called "Kill ElkY". And this new publication is also marked by the presence of Tysen Streib and Tony Dunst who contribute to the loose-aggressive style (Loose-Aggressive).
This book emphasizes and detailed line by line its subtitle "Tournament-Poker Strategies for Today's Aggressive Game", a theme that poker enthusiasts waited to read for an long time. Taking the principle of Kill Elky but in a more optimized version, this book demonstrates the most complex strategies used today in different major tournaments. Therefore, The Raiser's Edge provides further explanation about the mastery of the LAG style of play and the hyper LAG in No Limit Hold'em tournaments. The mastery of this style of play is reflected by the alternative to use if the defense if your opponent uses already this style. Other strategies are also discussed such as the smooth-calling, the squeeze, the 3-bet, the 4-bet, the thin value betting, etc. The English version is already available in shops but the French version of the book will be only available in September.
