EPT: Barcelona tournaments will begin in a few weeks
This year, the European Poker Tour Barcelona (EPT) stage will be held during the summer time. This event is scheduled to take place in Gran Casino annex poker room, Barcelona on August 27 to September 1st, 2011. An outstanding program is waiting for players during the EPT Barcelona because 20 tournaments will be provided to participants. And of course, the famous Main Event with 5,300 entry fee that gathered 757 participants in 2010 and awarded the champion title to Kent Lundmark will be one of those tournaments. Note that he is the second Swedish winner of the EPT Barcelona after his compatriot, Alexander Stevic in 2004. Swedish spectators can then expect from their representatives another success, once again. And for France, only Jan Boubli was able to win this title since the existence of the EPT Barcelona and this happened in 2005. However, we cannot neglect performances done by French players like Patrick Bruel in 2007 during the final table. Everyone hope that French representatives will do their best for better result this year.
If additional tournaments are concerned, there will be the Pot Limit Omaha No Limit Hold'em Turbo Bounty, Heads'up of 3,200 buy-in, a special tournament for Ladies with 330 entry fee held on Wednesday 31st of August at 02:00 p.m, a High Roller tournament of 10,300 buy-in scheduled on Wednesday 31st of August and on Thursday after that, qualifying satellite tournaments for the Main Event which will take place on Friday, August 26th. In addition, cash game and Sit&Go tournaments will be provided. This Barcelona stage will end with a Six Max tournament of 5,200 entry fee. And note that, on Thursday 1st of September at 1:00 p.m, there will be a qualifying satellite tournament of 330 especially made on the occasion of the Estrellas Poker Tour.
