Asia Pacific Poker Tour Melbourne: Already on the eve of the final day
The 5th season of the tournament Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) began on July 29. A field of 260 participants from 18 different countries joined the luxurious poker room of Crawn Casino in Melbourne, Australia to attend the event. With a buy-in of $ 5,000, the prize pool generated was $ AUD 1.2 million. The winner will then receive a gain of $ AUD 330,000. The third day of competition of the APPT Melbourne took place on Monday, August 1st. And at the end of the day, the finalists composed of two players from New Zealand and seven Australians were finally known.
On Day 3, the player from New Zealand Philip Willcocks has shown his qualities as a poker player of great class. He accumulated a great advantage in chips, which allowed him to access in the place of chip leader. And Van Marcus, William Jones, Michael Frydman, Julius Colman and Phares Bouya are also part of the race for the title of the APPT Melbourne 2011. Note that Queenstown, in New Zealand and Macau in China are also among the cities that will host stages of the 5th season of the APPT.
