World Poker Tour Slovenia: A total field of 141 players
The second day of competition of the World Poker Tour Slovenia (WPT) has to close. In total, therefore, this new stage of the circuit gathered 141 players and 84 of them were able to join the poker room of the Casino Portoroz to play the Day 2. At the start of the day, the German Dominik Nitsche who has a WPT final table and a trophy of the Latin American Poker Tour del Plata 2009 in his record was in the place of chipleader. At the end of the day, there were only 26 survivors on Day 3 with Gianluca Sperenza leading the pack. Note that the chipleader of the day eliminated many players including the champion of the European Poker Tour Vilamoura Toby Lewis, the champion of the WPT Barcelona 2011 Lukas Berglund and the top of the list of the previous day, Dominik Nitsche.
At the end of the third day, therefore, the bubble will burst and the finalists will stand out. Despite his title as chipleader, Gianluca Sperenza is not yet quiet because he has yet to face top players such as John Eames, owner of a stack of 227,700 chips, Tony G, Casey Kastle, and the only representative of the Hexagon Bernard Vu. As a reminder, 14 players will be awarded and the tournament is promising an interesting reward because the champion will walk away with a superb prize of 84,500 and a $ 25,500 package for the WPT World Championship in 2012. The runner-up will receive for his part the sum of 70,700 and the third will have a gain of 48,500.
