WSOP: Brazil got its bracelet thanks to Andre Akkhari
For the second time, Ralph Porter managed to win the first place of the podium of the Rio poker room by winning the Event # 44, the Seven Card Razz of $ 2,500. As a reminder, Porter won his first bracelet by winning the six-handed no-limit hold'em tournament of $ 1,500 during the World Series of Poker 2008 (WSOP). This stunning victory earned him a gain of $ 1.5 million. This time, even if he was facing formidable opponents like Robert Williamson, who finished 3rd, Andreas Krause (5th), Chris Bjorkin (6th), Matt Smith (7th) and Scott Epsein (8th) before being qualified for the final heads'up during which he has Stephen Su as opponent, he was majestic. Despite the advantages in chips of Stephen Su early in the day, Porter was able to propel himself to victory by emphasizing his ability to play poker and eliminating Stephen Su instead of the runner-up. This new conquest of Ralph Porter allowed him to pocket a gain of $ 210,615.
The Event # 43, a No-Limit Hold'em of $ 1,500 also elected its champion. Indeed, at the end of a duel rather eventful, Akkhari Andre won the second gold bracelet for Brazil. He had to fight a tough battle before he get success. Note that it is his first victory in the WSOP and thanks to his performance, he pocketed $ 675,117. Regarding the Event # 45, the game still continues, and Antonio Esfandiari currently at the fourth place is the way to win his second bracelet.
