EPT Awards Season 7: Two awards to be voted by players
In parallel with the Grand Final of the European Poker Tour (EPT) which is being held in the Spanish capital, Madrid, the EPT Awards Season 7 is also opened to all players participating in this event. In fact, two trophies will be awarded by players after the vote in which they participate. This is the Oscar of "performance of the year" and the "Player of the Season 7". The voting is not the same for both sections. With the trophy "performance", each player who present during this European poker circuit 2011 edition will have the opportunity to vote three times. At the other side, for the choice of "Player of the Year", the principle of a player, a vote must be respected.
As the ceremony of the European Poker Tour Awards will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Pacha Club in Madrid, there's only a few time to designate the respective winning poker players. As rewards, both winners of these two awards will be of course entitled of their trophy but in addition, the lucky participants will be privileged to attend the first event of the next season 8 of the EPT. For the category "Performance of the Year", a list of 20 nominated players will be proposed to three votes of each participant of the Season 7 of this European poker tournament. Among them include among others, Martin Jacobson, Max Heinzelmann, Fernando Brito, Konstantin Puchkov, Roberto Romanello, Eugene Kachalov, Galen Hall and Pierre Neuville.
