Team Humanitarian Poker: A charity tournament to the benefit of a school in India
Poker and humanitarian work are inseparable for Team Humanitarian Poker. Indeed, this charitable organization for children fixed as first objective the funding of humanitarian projects. To achieve its main goal, this poker club born in January 2011, created from the association Vivre son enfance (Living his childhood), has its own team consisting of 15 poker players. Thus, each member has the duty to pay the 70% of their pocketed gains during poker tournaments in which each of them participate. To harvest the amount of 25,000 needed for the congregation of Servantes de Marie en Anglet, the Team Humanitarian Poker planned a poker tournament on Friday, May 14 afternoon in the ballroom of the town hall of Gabaston to show its adherence to this social cause for Indian children. Participation in this poker tournament is free for members benefactors of the association. In addition to a prize of 1,400 to be given to the first player of the tournament that will be his admission to casino Barbotan's annual tournament, various other prizes are to win therein.
