BPT Toulouse: Coronation of Philippe Mignonneau
Even if the step in Toulouse of the Barrière Poker Tour (BPT) was held in conjunction with the Partouche Poker Tour Nice, a real success has been recorded as 123 players registered for the main event of 1,500 buy-in. The desire to win a package to the World Series of Poker Europe Cannes (WSOP-C) encouraged certainly players to participate in the tournament. Note that the winner was entitled to a package amounting 12,000 for the Main Event of the famous championship in Cannes. After the competition, thanks to this victory, Philippe Mignonneau won a first prize of 15,000. As for the runner up, Michael Benhammoudda, his second place let him win a prize of 10,000.
The final table of the inaugural stage of the BPT circuit provided a wonderful show to the public present in the poker room. Sigfried Devos who ranked at the third place in the final, won in addition to the package a reward of 7,500. Herve Carvalho was awarded the 4 th place with a reward of 5,500. Jean-Marie Bernollin occupied the 5th place and pocketed 4,000 during this tournament. Jean-Jacques Mars also had the chance to be part of qualified for the tournament by finishing 6th in Cannes. Andrea Comelale and Nicolas Cieutat were respectively in the 7th and 8th place. The BPT will continue its tour and will be in Nice on May 6 to 8. It will be a great opportunity to play poker and to be part of competitors for the WSOPE Cannes 2011.
