WSOP-C: Cartwright won his third bracelet
Kyle Cartwright has just completed a major feat in the poker room of Harrah's Circuit under the World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOP-C). Indeed, after being part of a broad field of 449 participants, Kyle Cartwright won the top spot in the tournament held at Harrah's St. Louis marking his first major trophy, but his third gold bracelet. Cartwright's talent was no more to show because he already won two preliminary events of the WSOP-C St. Louis before his feat in the main event. Kyle Cartwright deserved very well his victory because he started the final table as chip leader and as the only one who reached the milestone of two million chips.
It took only a few minutes for the player with the lowest stack at the party, Nick Jivkov, to be eliminated from the table. A hour later, Steve Goff followed his steps. He failed to capitalize on his advantage because, Goff had the second biggest stack at the beginning of the final table. Mitch Franks, Chris Viox, Troy Weber, Phil Stelzer and Ron Segni were respectively eliminated one by one and ranked respectively in the 7th, 6th, 5th, 4th and 3rd place. Cartwright has begun the final duel between Asheesh Boyapati with a huge advantage, 6.8 million chips face to the 2.1 million of Boyapati. His ascension to the throne was more than evident. By finishing in the runner-up place, Boyapati won $ 87,927 while Kyle Cartwright was awarded the first prize of $ 142,290 and access to the big championship in May.
