EPT Berlin: Fabrice Soulier maintains his advantage at the start of Day 3
The European Poker Tour Berlin (EPT) have reached its third day of competition. Indeed, with the end of Day 2, there are only 119 survivors, who will be all rewarded, who joined the poker room of Spielbank Casino last Friday to participate in Day 3. This second day of competition was the last for most of representatives of France because if they were 30 players at the start of the competition, they will be only 6 players to continue the battle. However, France is in the spotlight thanks to the feat of Fabrice Soulier. Indeed, it was a lucky day for Fabsoul and he played well in poker because he managed to climb up to the rank of chip leader by earning the biggest stack of the day. He is the only player having over 1 million chips. The German player Alessandro Laubinger follow him at the second position with 742,400 chips in hand and his compatriot Giuseppe Pantaleo is at the third position with 578,500 chips.
Alexis Mortet and Tristan Clémençon also managed to be part of the top 10 of the day and the other French still in the race for Day 3 are Hugo Lemaire, Thomas Bichon and Aurélien Guiglini. But Fabsoul can not yet claim the victory as acquired because several major international poker players are still in contention as Martin Jacobson, who is positioned at the 5th place, Sebastian Ruthenberg, Tobias Wagner and Cornel Cimpan. Note that the prize pool collected at the EPT 2011 is 3,865,000 and the winner will get a nice gain of 825,000. The EPT Berlin continued its way since Friday at noon, a moment during which the public waited the constitution of the final table at the end of the day.
