Deepstack Open Costa Brava: Victory of Robbert Miltenburg
The first stage of the Deepstack Open circuit (DSO) started as planned in the poker room of Costa Brava casino on last March 31. This kind of tournament continues to have a real success because many fans were present on the field with a total of 470 registered participants. Note that the competitors received 50,000 starting chips with a level of play of 60 minutes. After the second day of competition, it remained only 22 survivors and the French player Alain Gourier was successfully enthroned in the place of chip leader. His compatriot Jonathan Tordjman occupied the second position just before the final day of Sunday, April 3.
But after the final table, this ranking was completely shaken because none of these two French poker players weren't able to seize the victory. Indeed, Jonathan had to settle for the 7th place while the chip leader Gourrier finished 4 th after a deal between the 7 remaining players. Both players pocketed each the sum of 14,000. Pablo Vesque awarded the third place with a prize of 16,000. The French Sébastien Didelot also made a good run at this final round and climbed to the final head's up against Robbert Miltenburg. The two participants of the final heads'up also made a deal and the victory was attributed to Miltenburg and both players left respectively with 20,000. Marc Esteve, Ladislao Dalfo, Didier Le Neindre, Thomas Calfelis and Ronan Montfort ranked at the 5th, 6th, at the 10 th position. The fans of this type of poker tournament will reach the city of Cannes from April 28 to 31 to play deepstack poker during the second stage of the circuit.
