EPT Champion of Champions: The winner of the EPT Snowfest also qualified
The Gran Casino of Madrid will have the great honor to host the first ever European Poker Tour Champion of Champions tournament that will be played there after the Grand Final of May 13, 2011. For this new event, the organizers had the wonderful idea of bringing together on a unique freeroll table all holders of EPT title since the first tournament in 2004 to the recent winners of all EPT stages like that of Austria, the EPT Snowfest, Berlin, Madrid and San Remo of this season 7 of the current circuit. In all, the 70 champions of the different stages of the EPT Main Event will compete for this opportunity to nominate the best of the best players at the end of this final visit in Spain.
Four packages will be awarded to the top four players in the tournament ranking EPT Champion of Champions of May 13, 2011 in Madrid. Each of these 4 packages will worth 50,000, 25,000, 15,000 and 10,000 which means the right to participate in the Main Event of the choice of its owner for the future stages of the season 8 of the European Poker Tour. Among those invited to this final Spanish confrontation, there are among others, Noah Boeken, Patrik Antonius, Roland De Wolfe, Gavin Griffin, Jason Mercier, Sebastian Ruthenberg, Michael Tureniec or the champions Vicky Coren, Sandra Naujoks and Liv Boeree without forgetting the French Pascal Perrault, Jan Boubli, Arnaud Mattern, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Christophe Benzimra, and the surprising Lucien Cohen of the EPT Deauville Season 7 and one of the winners of the current EPT Snowfest. Koen De Visscher, the Belgian player and member of Team 770, Cristian Dragomir, Kevin Vandersmissen Vladimir Geshkenbein... can register their names.
