Amateur Poker Championship: The APAT unveils its program
The program of the fifth season of the Amateur Poker Association & Tour (APAT) is now unveiled to devotees of the circuit. As the Club des Clubs tournament in France which is an event for members of different poker clubs of the Hexagon, the APAT is also an amateur poker festival that takes place mostly in the UK. Having achieved great success during the first four editions, the organizers decided to make some news for the next season. Thus, participants will be able to play poker in quality tournaments and may also improve their skills and experiences through the holding of the World Amateur Poker Championship, a tournament that will face amateur players of the planet.
In total, 18 events are on the agenda of the APAT 2011. From March 26 to July 31, the APAT will visit Coventry, Newcastle, Cardiff, Blackpool and Glasgow. The great English amateur poker festival will run from August 25 to 29 in Nottingham. This festival will consist of a world poker amateur championship by team, stud poker, poker heads'up, HORSE, 6-Max, Omaha without forgetting the main event to be held from August 27 to 29 and will reward the world amateur champion 2011. From October 22 to 23, there will be also the UK Team Poker Championship of Luton and from December 10 to 11, appointment is given in London for the tournament The Masters Pro Am. The novelty that comes to embellish the APAT 2011 is the APAT Las Vegas to be held from November 19 to 21. And to end in beauty this season 5, those who like to follow this meeting will meet in Prague from January 28 to 29 to participate in the European Amateur Poker Championships.
