English Deepstack Championship of Luton: The only woman wins the tournament
Unlike the previous stage of Dublin which was attended by many people with 465 players, the last stop during the weekend, in Luton of the poker tournament English Deepstack Championship has been stingy of participants. Indeed, the influx of players was very low because only a few 188 players found useful to make the trip. However, this handicap in the number of players did not remove the interest of the tournament, especially the remarkable performance of the only woman player in this competition. To summarize the English championship deepstack of last weekend, the only woman competitor of the vent, Amy Trodd surprised by winning the final table.
The stage English Deepstack Championship of Luton had the same structure as that of Dublin. The tournament of £ 500 buy-in was made of a starting stack of 50,000 chips played on rounds of 60 minutes each. At the final straight line, only 9 of the 188 players listed on the field had the energy to play the final table including the only woman of the tournament, Amy Trodd who also swept in her course the 8 other finalists, with players coming from different poker club. With title in hand, the new English champion of Luton step went home with a gain of £ 25,000. Come respectively behind her in the final standings the Italian Pino Valentino and the English Giovanni Ambrosio, Adam Lawler, Niels Ladefoged, Keith Miller, James Lee, Paul Rodger and Ben Turnstill.
