Fair Poker & Betting Show: The event was finally cancelled
After an initial adjournment during the year 2010, the poker show “Poker & Betting Show" scheduled to take place during the coming three days of April 1, 2 and 3, 2011 in Hall 5.1 of Parc des Expositions de la Porte Versailles, in France won't finally take place. The reason given by the organizers for this cancellation is the inability of the market of online games to meet the needs of the multitude of visiting clients, exhibitors, partners for this kind of event described as outstanding. To explain this situation, they said that the claims required by visitors will not be honored by the exhibitors because of their low coverage on the market or because of the lack of adequate resources for this great event. In addition, the organization side is not yet ready.
To recap, the poker show "Poker & Betting Show" was planned ti take place in a space of 5,600 m2 to gather on the same stage players, operators of online poker rooms, casinos, gaming clubs, companies, associations and poker clubs, celebrities and many others. The goal is to make possible the exchange of offers and services sector. In addition, various events including animation, poker tournaments and panel discussions on the various products of the discipline poker in order to communicate and raise awareness among professionals and the general public, thematic conferences with an agora of over 370m2 were expected to be presented at this first public show dedicated to the poker industry in France.
