EPT 2011: Madrid, a new destination for the Grand final on May
The regulars at the grand final of the European Poker Tour (EPT) Monte Carlo will know a little modification for this year 2011 edition. Basically, the change concern the place where it will be held, instead of moving in the town of the principality of Monaco, poker players will head straight to Madrid, the first Spanish city. For the choice of the place, the official information given by the Executive Director of the EPT from Copenhagen talked about the various advantages offered by the Spanish capital to its guests of all ages during the night but also the cultural variety of Madrid.
In addition to this move on the Spanish soil, the organizers of the EPT kept the same formulas as those already adopted in previous finals of the circuit. Thus, the grand finale will take place in Madrid with the same buy-in of 10,000 + 600 which will be accompanied by a high roller of 25,000. This ultimate Iberian tournament of the EPT will run for six days of May, from 7 to 12, 2011. To recall, the various stages of the circuit for the 2011 edition in different European cities are the EPT Copenhagen which is the closest European poker tournament, which began on February 21 to 26 and that of Vienna from March 20 to 25, followed by that of Berlin from April 5 to 10. After the German step, there will be the step of San Remo from April 27 to May 3, 2011. In other hand, from next February 28 will be the held the first satellites for the EPT final in different online poker rooms.
