Poker Tournament of Albatros: A first step for young players
Playing poker became for some time an activity for everyone. It's more than obvious because the discipline is considered as more intellectual, asks physical endurance and a lot of strategies. It is in this logic that the Albatros of the College of Notre-Dame Rivière-du-Loup will host from Saturday, February 19, 2011 noon at the Universel Rivière-du Loup Hôtel its first poker tournament dedicated specifically to young players of Albatros. For this first appointment, the Albatros hope to welcome some 120 participants from the region of Bas-Saint-Laurent, Gaspésie and Iles-de-la-Madeleine. With regard to the actual tournament, the buy-in with the possibility of "re-buy during the first 60 minutes of the game is proposed at $ 100 and tickets are almost sold at the approach of the event. In addition, the prize pool for this first poker tournament of Albatros is estimated at $ 5,500. Similarly, the winner of this event for young Albatros poker player will be have a great reward with the tidy sum of $ 2,500.
