WPT Venice: David Vamplev lead for the final phase
The crowning of the winner of the World Poker Tour Venice (WPT) will be held soon as the final table of the event will begin in a few hours. The audience at the Casino Di Venezia will certainly attend an interesting struggle because of the skill of the competing players for the final head's up. Vamplev holds the place of chip leader with a great advantage in his possession because he holds 4.1 million chips. He is on his way to another victory. Already crowned champion of an event of the European Poker Tour (EPT) event and a World Series of Poker (WSOP), he could access the same rank as Roland de Wolfe and Gavin Griffin as holder of three titles WPT, EPT and WSOP if he triumph at this final.
However, the road won't be easy for David Vamplev because he must exclude from the victory Alessaio Isaia second in chips and the regular of many casinos, Szabolcs Mayer and the EPT Kiev 2009 champion Max Lycov placed respectively in the 3rd and 4th position. The representatives of France Adrien Garrigues and Emmanuel Rodrigues are also players not to underestimate. They have already made a good run throughout the WPT Venice and accessed mostly in the top rankings. The two Italians Luca Paolini and Renato Fiorini are also part of the race. Note that the champion will receive 380,000 reward while the runner up and the third finalist will respectively pocket 228,990 and 149,910.
