Black Diamond 48: A poker association from Lozère which aims for a big objective
Each group is different because of its organization but an association has its own ambition with its main objectives. Today, many formed alliances choose prioritizing poker which is the card game the most practiced around the world. Thus, the association Black Diamond 48, since its inception in 2009, has as only motto to promote poker in Lozere, in France. No later than Sunday, January 30, 2011, this grouping led by President Laetitia Malvy with her team of volunteers, devoted an afternoon to poker at the Youth Space.
For this mid-day of Sunday, January 30, the association offered to fans of poker the first tournament of the 2010-2011 season, an event part of the Poker Series. Some players, about thirty in all, were present at this first meeting of the year. The participants played with as ambition to win the best place by the end of the season, which will be rewarded by a great retribution. Indeed, the Black Diamond 48, as last year during which it sent the best player in Las Vegas, will offer also for this time, for the winner, one entry for another major poker tournament. This lozerian association has some 80 members and take part in various monthly departmental events organized. Other activities to popularize poker game are also in the program of Laetitia Malvy team such introductory and advanced courses to the followers of the discipline every Wednesday night at the Quail Mende and Youth Space of Marvejols.
