PCA Super High Roller: Eugene Katchalov outperforms Daniel Negreanu
Eugene Katchalov first, Daniel Negreanu second, this was the final verdict of the Poker Carribbean Adventure Super High Roller which was played the last weekend. A final table with only 7 players where the top 5 have been rewarded. Before the final confrontation between the two men which lasted a little more than 3 hours, the recent winner of the tournament and the runner-up have been eliminated in turn, inter alia, the first outgoing players of the last straight line as Andrew Lichtenberger and Sandor Demjan and the experienced Costa Rican Humberto Brenes, Nick Schulman and Bryn Kenney. From the outset of the head's-up, the winner of the prestigious event, Eugene Katchalov had a large advantage thanks to two pots keeping him in a comfortable place with 8.5 million chips against only 1 Million for Kid Poker.
With this new victory in the Poker Carribbean Adventure Super High Roller which permit him to earned the sum of $ 1,500,000, Eugene Katchalov is in his second biggest gain of his career after his achievement in the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic 2007. For the other rankings of this event, Daniel Negreanu, occupied the second place and took home $ 1,000,000, he was followed by Bryn Kenney, who finished third and collected $ 643,000. Lying in the fourth spot of this ranking, Nick Schulman won $ 400,000. Finally, the fifth and final award of this ranking is Humberto Brenes who left with a gain of $ 200,000.
