Player of the Year 2010: Bluff Magazine chose Sorel Mizzi
With its selection criteria worthy of a professional poker media, Bluff Magazine, among the leaders in this field, elected the Canadian Sorel Mizzi as "Player of The Year" 2010. Thus, after having realized the ranking of the best players according to their performance in different major tournament, this magazine has named Sorel Mizzi. A well-deserved coronation for this Canadian player; whose performances throughout the year 2010 were simply exceptional. He began by rounding up the price of the 3rd place of the Aussie Millions, acceded to three final tables in the World Poker Tour circuit (WPT), was among the finalists of the event $ 1,500 Seven Card Stud at the World Championships of poker in Las Vegas and also earned 22 paid places in other major tournaments at international level, exploits that allowed him to save $ 1.9 million gain.
With 1,777 points at his account, Sorel Mizzi ousted the Player of the Year 2010 of Card Player, Tom Marchese with 520 points higher. The magazine awarded in the third place the Portuguese businessman Fernando Brito who won two High Roller tournaments of $ 10,000 buy-in and won a 6th place at the European Poker Tour (EPT) London.
