Best players 2010: Jonathan Dumahel in the top
At each end of the year, it is customary to do a little recap on the performance and achievements made by poker players throughout the year. However, the selection remains complicated because the choice of classification criteria is not at all easy. The Top 20 international players illustrates the players who amassed the greatest gains in tournaments for the year 2010. In the top of the list is of course the world champion of poker 2010, the Canadian Dumahel Jonathan, who collected for his performance at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas a prize of $ 8,987,310. His runner-up John Racener is in second place and at the third place is Saguhyon Cheong. Michael Mizrachi also enjoyed great success this year and is in the 4th position.
After her two victories in the Partouche Poker Tour, at the North American Poker Tour at Mohegan Sun and her 4th place in the High Roller of the European Poker Tour (EPT) London, Vanessa Selbst amply earned her 6th place. The winner of the EPT Monte Carlo Nicholas Chouity won the 8th place in this ranking. Filippo Candio, Harrison Gimbel, Thomas Marchese, John Dolan, Tyron Krost, Sorel Mizzi, Tyler Reiman, Andras Koroknaj, Liv Boeree, Jake Cody, John Juanda, Shawn Buchanan and Jamsse Bord are respectively in the 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th , 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th and 19 th place. And the famous Phil Ivey, described as "the best player in the world" is in the 20th place with a total gain of $ 1,623,231, a fact which confirms that the Tiger Woods of poker does not lose his hand but continues to accumulate earnings.
