Dakar Poker Tour 2011: A new edition not to be missed
Senegal, an African country where the temperature is 30 ° C in the shade during the winter in the northern hemisphere also has its poker tournament that begins to be famous. The Dakar Poker Tour, which was in its infancy two years ago took now the commitment to continue. Next year, the circuit enters its third edition, the festival will be held at the Terrou-Bi Resort from January 11 to 17, 2011. It is therefore an excellent opportunity for poker enthusiasts to escape th cold e winter and participate in a circuit crowned with great success during the first two editions. Indeed, internationally acclaimed players as Roger Hairabadian, Guillaume Savary, Jean Paul Pasqualini and Alain Roy made the trip to participate in the edition of last year.
For the 2011 edition, the Dakar Poker Tour hopes to raise about 150 players. The event will begin with a Main Event satellite of 155 followed by another of 47 on January 12. A Freezout Deepstack of 500 will be also scheduled for January 13 and the 1,500 Main Event will be launched on January 14. The coronation is scheduled for January 16 after the completion of the final table. And the Dakar Poker Tour will conclude with a satellite that has as prize a package to the Big Poker Series (BPS) of Marrakesh. Note that the organizers offer a package of 2,800 including a seat for the Main Event, a place for the 500 side event and the satellite for the BPS Marrakesh, 5 nights with breakfast and dinner included in the Terrou-Bi complex, support upon arrival at the airport and a welcome kit.
