Los Angeles Poker Classic: 53 events including a Senior Event in the program
Because it is mostly young poker enthusiasts who flood live tournaments, seniors who have a passion for poker are eclipsed in anonymity, except great players like Doyle Brunson. Thus, organizers of major tournaments offer a special event for senior to honor their presence but also to give them a chance to compete among players of similar class, and success is in the appointment. For example, the WSOP Seniors Event brought together 3,000 competitors aged between 52 and 90 years. Next year, the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles will also host in the sideline of the Los Angeles Poker Classic (LAPC) tournament a special event for seniors. The LAPC is scheduled to take place from January 19, 2011 to March 3, 53 events are scheduled. This is a great poker festival of 43 days.
Deemed to be the largest poker theater of Los Angeles, Commerce Casino continues to innovate its offerings to satisfy fans of the game. So, the program of the LAPC 2011 will be filled with exciting events to name the World Poker Tour Celebrity Invitational, High Roller $ 25,100 buy-in and, of course, a main event. The No Limit Hold'em Senior Championship tournament for players aged 50 and over will be held for its part on February 23, 2011. The buy-in is set at $ 545. This is an opportunity for seniors to play in peace according to their rhythm, their level of play and experiences. According to the tournament director Matt Savage, senior citizens and the public of Commerce Casino will attend a special tournament and the champion will walk away with a nice bonus pledge.
