High Stakes Poker: A Season 7 without many pros of the game
Despite the recent robbery occurred at the Bellagio, the famous casino in Las Vegas is still ready to welcome a new poker tournament of high magnitude. Indeed, the filming of Season 7 of the show High Stakes Poker will start next week in the casino. This is a big show of televised poker with a buy-in of at least $ 200,000, narrated by Gabe Kaplan and Kara Scott, during which the public has the opportunity to attend a battle of big names in parties of No Limit Hold'em. Since its launch, the show broadcast on GSN acquired a huge success given the quality and reputation of the participants. However, rumors circulated recently about the absence of many stars on the backstage of the show for its seventh season.
Indeed, Barry Greenstein had announced a few times ago that Tom Dwan, Phil Ivey, Patrik Antonius, Gus Hansen and Mike Matusow won't be part of the adventure. The Canadian Daniel Negreanu also announced during his arrival at home that he will not be in the field of the High Stakes Poker Season 7, which could be a great disappointment for his fans. However, some notable players confirmed their participation as the world champion of poker 2010 Jonathan Dumahel, Andrew Robl, Antonio Esfandiari and Jason Mercier. The legendary Doyle Brunson, Scotty Nguyen, Phil Laak, David Peat, Phil Galfond should also make their appearance on the show. It is possible that new faces will join the Bellagio during the filming of this poker show to replace those missing.
